CONNECTION

To experience Reiki you don't have to be sitting still meditating, you can be aware of energy within and around you as you walk around or throughout your day at work.

Nature heals, so if you get the chance get outside for some fresh air, that is the ideal time to connect to animals, birds, plants and trees around you. Even better take off your shoes and feel the earth beneath your feet.

Take a deep Cleansing Breath

Let your eyes fall on an animal, bird, plant or insect ( even if it is out of the window )

Bring your attention to the colours that you see, the form of another being, acknowledge their life force, feel your heart centre connect with theirs

Recognise the challenges that they may have in their environment, imagine what they see, how would it feel to BE them

Sit with this connection for as long as you wish, be open to any guidance or message

Thank the other being for connecting with you

Take a deep Cleansing Breath

Affirm that all is well.

Nature heals. Surround yourself at work with shades of green or have a plants around you or on your desk. Crystals and stones also bring the energy of the earth indoors.

Nature brings wisdom, as you become used to connecting with Nature you may find answers to problems, a message in the connection to the animals you encounter throughout your day, your intuition becomes heightened the more aware you become of Nature around you.
You may want to learn more about the symbolic meanings of the animals that cross your path.

Deer
You are being asked to find the gentleness of spirit that heals all wounds. Stop pushing so hard to get others to change, and love them as they are. Apply gentleness to your present situation and become like the summer breeze: warm and caring. This is your tool for solving the present dilemma you are facing. If you use it, you will connect with Sacred Mountain, your centering place of serenity, and Great Spirit will guide you.

This message from Deer also reminds us of the Reiki Precept : Show Compassion to Yourself - you may not be willing to love yourself enough to feel your fears and let them go. You may be projecting your fears on others. It may also be others whom you fear, reminding you of a time when you reacted to life in much the same manner. At any rate, love is the key.

The only true balance to power is the love and compassion of Deer. Be willing to find things to love about yourself and others, and your demons will melt away. Your fears cannot exist in the same place that love and gentleness abide.
Fox
The ability to meld into one’s surrounding and be unnoticed is a powerful gift when one is observing the activities of others.

Fox medicine involves adaptability, cunning, observation, integration, and swiftness of thought and action. Fox medicine is a sign that you are to become like the wind, which is unseen yet is able to weave into and through any location or situation. You would be wise to observe the acts of others rather than their words at this time.

Fox medicine teaches the art of Oneness through its understand of camouflage. This applies on all levels, from rocks to God. With Fox medicine, you are being asked to see all types of uses for Oneness.
