Please read before making an appointment
Therapies are carried out at The Pet Empawrium, East Kilbride or as a home visit by prior arrangement (to allow for travel time).
Therapies for people - a full consultation will be carried out before your appointment, please allow extra time for this on your first visit.
Therapies for animals - veterinary consent is required for most therapies. A a health check can be arranged, prior to your appointment, with one of our onsite vets based at The Pet Empawrium in East Kilbride Champion Vets, this must be booked in advance.
1. First step is to make sure your pet's health has been checked by a veterinary surgeon and any condition diagnosed prior to a therapy consultation.
2. If you would like a consultation for general well-being please make sure that your pet is healthy and your vet has no objections.
3. If your pet is unwell and you would like to include complementary therapies as part of your pet’s treatment plan, you can arrange an appointment with me after a veterinary diagnosis has been received. I will inform your vet that I am going to advise you on natural therapies /offer reiki and verify that there are no contra indications to using these. Complementary therapies are not intended to replace veterinary treatment.
How do I know which therapy to choose ? I would suggest a telephone consultation to discuss the best therapy or or in most cases combination of therapies for your pet. Human therapies are only available at the therapy room in East Kilbride.
